But why? maybe causeeeee…Brighter Than Mushrooms Gems Fany, is turning 20 (21 in Korea) tomorrow!?! Yesh…but, that’s not all (Happy Early Birthday Fany btw)! Looks like there’s gonna be special stages on tomorrow’s Music Core.

According to lilchoiboy18@allkpop, the girls will be performing “Genie” as usual, but 6/9 (Hyoyeon, Sunny, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, Seohyun) will be performing “In Summer” on a special stage, while Sica will be performing her duet from Genie’s mini album, “One Year Later”, with SHINee’s Onew.

As for more info on “In Summer”,

In Summer was a 1994 hit bye Deux. The song was remixed by singer Seo Yeon (not to be confused with SNSD’s Seohyun) in 2003 for her first album.

SNSD’s version of “In Summer” is supposedly another interpretation and won’t be a cover of either the original by Deux or the remix by Seo Yeon.
