Man, I love these girls ❤ Too bad they got plastic surgery (just like Nam Gyuri) and don’t look as pretty as they did before debut. But whatever, still awesome. If you don’t know DaVichi, you don’t know mainstream ballad K-pop. And if you don’t know SeeYa (the trio Nam Gyuri (was? who knows now) is in) then you definitely don’t know K-pop.
DaVichi came back with 8282* and I Made a Mistake. Their new single they’re currently performing is My Man. All awesome songs! Although I love their first album best, this mini album is still good. They were the ones that ended SNSD’s Gee streak (even if it wasn’t right away) and kept SuJu from winning as many awards (keekeekee).

so it’s 팔이 and when you says that it’s 빨리 means ‘HURRY’ (actually it means ‘Faster’ and 급함 means ‘HURRY’)

one of them is cute, but i always thought the other one wasn’t that great looking (BUT NOT UGLY)… and on photo albums they just add 10lbs of make up to her face and also photoshop her face…
but with that being said, i like their songs and singing. i loved love and war, it was a great song!

they did. I’m no expert so i can’t really pinpoint exactly what, but I can definitely that SOMETHING’S different for both of them.
I don’t really blame them or their company tho. They got their priorities straight: talent and music over looks.

I don’t think they have particularly good voices but they know how to sell a song — and that’s an important quality for a singer. I liked a song they did called, I think, “A Song of Sad Love” that a YouTube fan placed over a tribute to Kim Sunghee (a slight mistake in that it becomes obvious while listening that SungHee is a much more exciting singer).
The “Kissing You” cover had some barely noticeable flat notes but the singer’s voice has a sultriness that isn’t heard in the SNSD version. And it helps the tonal aspect that she doesn’t have to dance energetically at the same time.

but really what makes a singer stand out from others, in my opinion, is stability and control, which I think Davichi has.
Definitely, talent is based on ability and not looks. I just wish some of these girls wouldn’t feel like they had to do something to look pretty. Cuz in all honesty, I think they looked prettier during their predebut days.

For the supreme example of talents that never depended on looks: BIG MAMA. Each one is an exceptional singer and they put all but a few female singers in the shade (some exceptions: SungHee, TaeYeon, YeungJoo of Black Pearl). Their only problem is the lack of songs to match their glorious talents.

I honestly never bothered much with either group. Well, I at least listened to a few songs from Baby Vox… but I was more interested in SES and FINKL for that era.
A girl group that I wonder what happened to is BLACK PEARL. I remember the controversy they made for trying to be the “better Seeya” or something… they had one or two good songs and they weren’t bad looking either. Plus, the voices were very good for ballad. Hmm
