One disappointing aspect of K-Pop that I’ve noticed is that when they cover a song, they don’t introduce any variation to the original in style. This “Come On Over” sounds like the same tempo and arrangement as the one KARA used. I don’t know if it’s the same as the American original, but I suspect that it is.
Still, it would be interesting to have a way to compare the vocals of SNSD to the original KARA — but it’s hard to hear this SNSD performance. Especially, to compare TaeYeon with SungHee. In crowded SNSD, TaeYeon never gets the chance to display her singing the way KARA’s arrangers made certain that SungHee did.
Re: the bullying video. Could be called “Hajima, Yoona.”
