SNSD’s Taeyeon has displayed her mighty power as a solo.
SNSD’s leader Taeyeon sang KBS 2TV ‘Hong Gil Dong’ OST song ‘IF’ and has won the Cyworld Digital Music Award.
The Cyworld Digital Music Award is held monthly by SKCommunications and was started on July 06. It is a Digital Music Award
ceremony that is the first of its kind in Korea and also the world. Taeyeon’s song ‘IF’ was chosen as the song most loved (song of the
month) on the month of February.
Taeyeon’s ‘IF’ was top-ranked not only in Cyworld Music Chart, but ranked high in Melon, Bucks, Soribada, and other online music
charts as well. Although a SNSD’s member is awarded, it is much more meaningful this time because it is Taeyeon’s first award
received while singing solo for the first time.
One of the writers of ‘Hong Gil Dong’ commented “Together with Taeyeon’s excelling singing abilities and the viewer’s positive
response to the drama, they have created a synergy effect.”
