Fashion designer Jeremy Scott opened his big mouth on Twitter Wednesday to voice his displeasure over Girls’ Generation winning MNET’s Global K-Pop Star poll. He disrespected them, and if you don’t like his ignorant tweets, let him know about it by voting for Girls’ Generation on MNET’s Global Poll.
Remember folks: Classy beats Trashy. Don’t spark fan wars or you’re no better than Mr.Scott. Let the votes speak for themselves.

I think you just contradicted yourself. I’m voicing my opinion as a writer here on SNSDKorean. What’s the difference? Am I not allowed to say anything on the matter?
And actually, people take things the wrong way all the time. That’s why you don’t go around on the streets saying whatever the heck you want. Nowadays, people don’t have a filter in their heads or don’t understand what things like respect are, because they take freedom of speech way too seriously.
My interpretation of Mr. Scott’s first tweet is simple. He’s basically saying SNSD is winning illegitimately, which I take offence too.
It could have been just as easy for Mr. Scott to say: “VOTE FOR MY GIRLS, 2NE1, WHO ARE LOSING TO GIRLS’ GENERATION!”
If they took freedom of speech seriously, they wouldn’t speak like an ass. Stuff like this makes me wonder about the world.

Doesn’t make him any less of a giant man baby. Honestly, his ignorance from tweet #2 was already offensive enough. Not to mention SNSD actually wear his designs in their MVs. He could go about his business a lot better, but because he’s a “rebel,” people defend him.
He’s implying the illegitimacy of the win. That’s my interpretation at the time of my reply.
I saw it as a fan poll. Are family members fans? Could go either way, but are they biased? Yes. Does that mean they might vote for them, even if they don’t feel like they’re the best k-pop girl group? Yes. By saying that their families members can give them a ton of votes already, makes me feel like he’s suggesting they don’t deserve their lead and it’s not the real FANs the are backing them.
You guys do have a point. He’s not explicitly saying it. But people can interpret any line of text in all sorts of ways. I’ll admit that I may have over-analyzed. Either way, I don’t support his over the top ignorance and blatant hate mongering. His attitude represents everything that’s wrong with K-pop, a.k.a. STANs.
SNSD have the looks but many of them don’t have talents and it is such a big group I agree with u mr Scott 2ne1 is so much better than SNSD .2ne1 has minzy which is an amazing dancer,CL with great vocals, Bom and Dara are so beautiful and sweet.

and for a fashion designer, He is sure have a lot of time in his hand for being to vote like crazy for a girl group… I think his main reason is for fame… not really because he support 2NE1.. and just plainly can’t be as famous as other top class Fashion designers with his own design.. so he follows most of celebrities did to be a famous, that is making a sensation…i’m sure if he’s a Marc Jacobs, he won’t do this cheap publicity over the internet…just too cheap

That Jeremy Scott dude is a coward. He’s just scared that SNSD is winning. To be honest, I love both SNSD and 2NE1. I’m a big fan of both but fans like that aren’t really true fans. If they were, they would know SNSD and 2NE1 are friends and they would be happy for each other. Lots of Sones and Blackjacks are friends so I’m really curious why people need to open their big mouths and talk trash about other groups for no real reason. It’s just plain stupid, pathetic and immature.
