I’m affraid I didn’t like this episode as much as the others. I felt like the antics were too contrived, but not as fun as they usually are, and the laugher seemed forced at times. Sometimes, no laugher, even from the cast (see Sunny during Boom v. Choi mud fight).
I liked IY (season 1 and 2) they way they were. Were the ratings low in Korea, and that’s why the change? Maybe it’s the giant guy (Choi) that changed the chemistry for me? I want to see KPOP idols doing everyday tasks, and showing how good/bad they are at math, making food, answering quiz questions, telling cheesy jokes, doing silly dances for food, hammering, etc.! IY2 needs a faux romantic triangle, like in IY. Yuri, that Bear guy, and Sunhwa were always good for a few good one-liners during the show.
Sunny and Hyoyeon looked awesome, as usual. Every time I see this show, I am more, and more, and more impressed with Sunny’s skills. Fearless in the face of fish and chickens, smart as a whip, aegyo impressario, competitive but nice, and funny as hell. Hyoyeon is still pretty reserved, and I feel gets picked on a bit. She does nail some funny zingers, though.
Thanks heartsdiesubs for translating the show. Without your hard work and generosity, I’d be staring at Sunny & Hyoyeon without a clue as to what’s going on. Much better with subtitles in English. Thank you!!!
i honestly like IY1 as well, from start they all had good chemistry, and they played games as well, and made jokes and stuff, was heart warming n addictive to watch, in IY2, until now they still arent that close with each other, but some moments are funny, thanx to SNSD and jiyoung, even Boom, but really, most of the members are just very boring? i guess im mainly watching this cause of sunny and hyo, and glad shin young is back too!
