I know, I’m such a great poet. So, DUNDUNDUN… I know this site has been overflooded with news of ‘Oh’ already, but heck why not some more exciting news while we all wait for their MV and album release + comeback performance?
Thanks to newsen reporter Kim Hyunwoo and glucose @ soshified/forums, we now know some more about the album!
Kenzie, E-TRIBE, hitchiker/Jinoo of Roller Coaster, Yoo Youngsuk, Hwang Chanhee, Cheo Eunhee and Lee Jaemyung, who are all big music producers, are participating in the production of SNSD’s second album. Hitchiker/Jinoo, who produced B.E.G’s hit song ‘Abacadabra’ is involved with ‘Show!Show!Show!’ so we can definitely expect that to be a great song since it’s also combined with our girls voices! (I’ve already heard ‘Show!Show!Show!’ from fancams, and I loved it!) ‘Show!Show!Show!’ has also been revealed at their first concert, along with ‘Be Happy’ (which I haven’t heard yet).
SHINee’s Key is also involved once again! He’ll be featured in the song ‘Boys and Girls’ which is said to be “particularly special for its melody line and groovy rhythm.” and it talks about “”men are from Mars, and women are from Venus”, and describes the various circumstances that arise from the difference in thinking between the opposite sex.”
Ofcourse, SNSD’s album cannot be complete with a ballad: ‘Forever.’ Other songs include ‘Star Star Star’ and ‘Day by Day‘ plus ‘Stick Wit U’ which is said to be an electronic dance song. (Um okay… I thought it was going to me a remake of PCD’s song, oh well whatever happens, I can’t wait to hear this song. I’m sure there will be no problems as SM is usually prepared with things like copyrights.)
And lastly but not least… THIS IS THE NEWS that made me go absolute bananas:
Additionally, SNSD’s second album will include a ****duet-song**** by Jessica and Tiffany called ‘Talk to Me’, the perfect voice combination of the two members laid with a bossa-nova rhythm that is intended to relax the listeners.
NO WAY! I guess SM is acknowledging the popularity of JeTi… JETI POWER!!! The song name made me laugh, because it reminds me of that guy from American Idol who sang that “Talk to me, tell me your name” song.
Anyways, ‘Talk to Me’ is my second most anticipated song (First had to be ‘Oh’), whats your most anticipated song my dear readers?

I already love it. I can’t wait for the MV, I love the concept already! I know there are some fans that are displeased, but I’m sure you’ll love it once the whole thing comes out! I was pretty skeptical about gee when it first came out… but soon I grew to love it too! As for the oppa part, I thought it made sense since they were cheerleaders cheering for the american foot players in their song :)… lady fans, let’s not be jealous :)!

Wasn’t here for it, but I’m sure Gee had its skeptics when it was just released as a digital without the MV yet…
Let us hope the MV is one helluva MV! The song wasn’t much of a listen, but if I were to name one thing that I like about the song, it would be the deviation from the typical kpop beat (or I could be wrong in this) cuz it sounds A LOT like ‘Hey Mickey’. But really, they got it right this time. They said they wanted to try something new and different (and possibly move away from the cuteness that is Kissing You lol) and from skinny jeans to marine outfits and now, cheerleading outfits. It doesn’t get any better than this. Definitely a trendsetter, those girls. Hell, I’d buy myself a set of cheerleader outfit even if I had a treasure trail, because it’s cool like that.
And hell, I cannot hide myself from the duet! ‘Talk To Me’ sounds like making up after a verbal fight. LOL the love between JeTi. just like the brand LG, life is definitely good (with JeTi)

For ‘Oh!’, well, I’ll wait patiently for the MV, not that I have to wait too long. Not my cup of tea at the moment, but that was to be expected.

I’m not really sure what to expect from the other song son the album, except of course ‘Gee’ and ‘Tell Me Your Wish (Genie)’. I’m quite looking forward to ‘Talk To Me’, brimming with wholesome JeTi goodness. I expect great things from those two (great kids especially, they can make it work).

Fingers crossed for a Dance Ver. of “Oh!” like how “Gee” had. Shame that Genie didn’t have a dance version MV. It would’ve been something.
yeah, i guess OH! grows on you. i also didn’t dig it much when i first heard it…just like gee! so i feel positive about this song. ^^*
wow! im really anticipating all of the songs. but i guess Oh would be on top. ^_^
i can’t wait to hear forever. i’m hoping for a song that really shows all their vocals clearly. especially taengoo’s!! I hope not all the songs besides forever are electro-pop even though i do like catchy dance tunes. just not for all of them.
