SNSD Tiffany’s OST was released in a preview of SBS TV Historical Drama, ‘Ja Myung Go’ and has been a hot topic of discussion between the fans.
The song is titled ‘By Myself’ and was played shortly after the drama on the 24th. The song is a touching ballad solo sung by Tiffany. Fans who heard the preview of the song being played after the 5th episode of the drama left many supportive comments on the SNSD homepage saying, “It’s such a good song to listen to” and “It’s so touching and the ballad leaves a good impression”.

The song, as the fans found that it was a solo by Tiffany, contains touching lyrics ‘I speak of love by myself, send my love off by myself, looking back on our memories I cry hoping that you are happy wherever you might be..’ have raised the mood of the drama.
However ‘By Myself’ has not yet been fully released and can only be heard through the drama. The exact date of the release also has not yet been decided.

I didn’t think the preview did enough justice to her voice. I dunno, maybe it’s just me (haha no, I know it’s not) but I like it when Tiffany goes high rather than her singing in a smooth and low tone. Maybe because her accent is more noticeable or I miss the way her voice sounds when it goes high—–
Forget it, I’m listening to it while I type this and yeah. It’s a good song. Her voice here definitely doesn’t beat past songs from any of the albums or her radio performances (ex: only one for me, come on over, upside down, etc).
Maybe I should go to sleep. I’m not making any sense…

hmm I just listened to it twice… >< I love fany to bits… but I dont think ;-; it was that great. Really disappointed, I mean its her first solo, but the chorus sounded a little bit boring to me but all the other parts were fine.. maybe its the way she sings? I agree with slave.. she should have singed a little bit higher :(…

..im disappointed. yes. i liked the preview a lot for some reason but now, especially the beginning of this song, sounded kind of bland to me. but i think as you start moving into the song, it gets better

Hmmm… Maybe the title is true… she’s lonely without Jessica and therefore the real prestige of Tiff’s voice didn’t come out.

Once past the first minute, the song starts to liven up. It’s pleasant but nothing special.
I do like Tiffany’s job in it — in part I think cuz they sound engineered away her rough edges — which may disappoint her devoted fans.
In the beginning her voice was breathy (a too common approach to singing ballads nowadays). But when the pitch rose, so did Tiffany’s voice and she began to sing out — bringing more energy to the song. I wonder what it would have sounded like if, at the high notes, she sang out rather than went into falsetto.
Overall, tho, I had a positive response — mostly from knowing it was Tiffany singing.
