SNSD’s Random Selca Haven~

From a part in the V-concert, there was a marathon of SNSD Selcas that flashed throughout the screen! Most of them are completely random but very adorable! Ranging from BTS of I Got A Boy and their concept shoots, to totally random moments in a shop.

However there are some that caught my eye! Yush im talking bout the Selca that CAUGHT THEM IN THEIR PJS hohohohho….no perversion intended. But yes!, the SoShi Dorm makes a return to the media as the shot was taking within their dorms, showing the gaint delicious FEAST they’re having. It also shows their bare faces which also shows their natural beauty! Check em out below!

smrr00’s EPIC Cover Of ‘ I Got A Boy’~

Ill have to say it when it is, but ive seen many piano covers already for I Got A Boy….and sorry to say but some of them sucks lol. But hell this is the first one ive seen where the full song is being played, with the fast beat, and it actually very catchy in piano version! I can totally hear my brain trying to sing along the piano cover…even though i dont know the words lol.

Anyways check it out by smrr00! She has done an excellent job on this cover. Shes also done piano and vocal covers of SNSD’s previous songs!

“I GOT A BOY” The Analysis

Let’s face it, IGAB is probably the most experimental song in Soshi’s discography. Let’s forget the fact that many people are crying about this song because it sounds weird, people cried about Gee as well because it was too poppy and trying to be overly cute.

SNSD I Got a Boy edit

I’ve put this song on repeat for a few days straight now and I actually really enjoy it. However, I can understand how people don’t, it’s not really pop…it’s an experimental variation of pop elements. My musical tastes start with rock and metal, and it evolved into Progressive Metal/rock, and I feel that IGAB has links to progressive music.  I’ll be analysing why people who LOVE kpop seem to be afraid of this song so much, and why people seem to find it difficult to listen to.

THIS IS A LONG READ, but it might give a very good insight as to why the song is done the way it is, and hopefully will garner more appreciation.
