Daum FanClub Rankings as of July 2010 – July 3, 2010

Korean idols’ latest fanclub rankings has been revealed! As of July 2010, TVXQ continues to claim the top spot for the most number of fan club members on Daum. Despite having decreasing members, TVXQ is unreachable as they were followed by Bigbang, SNSD, SS501 and 2PM.

Meanwhile, following recent controversy after their contract expiration with DSP Media – SS501′s fanclub number dropped lower after losing 11,000 of its members. Following that account, there is also an increase on new idol groups such as BEAST, MBLAQ, Infinite and C.N.BLUE.

Daum cafe’s are the official Korean fanclubs that support each group. What I find very interesting is that the Top Ten have all experienced a lowering in numbers except for SNSD who have increased in numbers. Sone’s are awesome 😛

SNSD news have been quite slow these days but silis7noy has just provided SONES with some new updates about the girls! Information includes a celebrity tweeting about one of the members, a BoShi interaction, YulTi gettin married, and more 🙂

Let’s start off with this picture:

I believe I failed to include that in the original post about Sooyoung vacationing in America but I’m sure most of you have seen it. This was when she was at the Big Apple aka New York!

In that New York picture where Sooyoung is talking with a chess playing man, the man was lonely waiting for someone to play chess with. Sooyoung talked to and comforted him and said she has no worries in life she believes in God.

You don’t come across girls like these anymore. Walking and sitting down with a complete stranger and even comforting him. I think that says a lot about one’s character. Not many could or would even want to do what Soo did. HOW they communicated is still a bit of a mystery for me but I’m sure her English has since improved from the taxi incident on Factory Girl’s. 😛

It’s comforting in a way to know that our girls will still be hangin’ around Korea but hopefully all that running around won’t wear these girls down. Take care of yourselves!

SM TOWN Live 2010 Concerts Confirmed To Be Held In Shanghai, LA, and Tokyo!

We heard that the SM TOWN Live 2010 concert in Seoul is confirmed to be held on August 21st a few days ago with many SM artists listed to perform like SNSD. According to Casper@Allkpop, SM TOWN Live 2010 will be going on a “world tour.” If you recall previous years, SM TOWN Live Concerts were held domestically in South Korea as well as a few other countries of Asia, such as Bangkok and Shanghai. This year, however, SM Entertainment is gonna take it to the next level and hold one in Los Angeles, California (yes, in the US!). It was said that the one in Los Angeles will be held at the Staples Center on September 4th followed by the SM TOWN Live 2010 Concert at Hongkou Stadium in Shanghai, China on September 11th, and another one Tokyo, Japan, which the date is not revealed yet.

To be honest, when I heard the news, my heart skipped a beat because I never imagined an SM TOWN Live Concert in the states. In the past, I remember commenting on previous SM TOWN Live Concert posts and saying, “aww…i’m jealous. They should have one in the states.” Who knew one day, my wish has come true and I’m sure I’m not the only person who had this wish :] Though I’m from the East Coast and I’m not sure if I’ll be attending because that’s when I’m gonna be moving into my dorm and stuff, I’m excited for those who are gonna be going. If only they had concerts in the East Coast!
