Feeling down today ? Well, the cure is a good dose of awesomeness from our angelic 9 !
The MBC Good Day variety programme, which was telecast on the morning of 30th June, featured a pre-recorded interview segment with our 9 ladies, done the day before, on the 29th of June, whilst they were preparing for their concert performance at Yoyogi Stadium in Tokyo.
Prior to this, the angelic 9 had already performed 3 concerts at the same venue for their Japan Arena Tour, thus attesting to their massive popularity in Japan.
Whilst in the waiting room prior to the start of the concert, the faces of the 9 ladies were lit-up with excitement at the successes that they have achieved so far in Japan, in addition to the immense popular support shown to them by their Japanese fans.
They were quoted as saying: “We have achieved the no.1 spot on the Oricon Weekly Chart” and “Our album recorded sales exceeded 230,000 copies in the first week and, including Japanese artistes, we are ranked 4th in the Yearly Oricon Chart”.
When the MBC crew mentioned how often the girls were featured in Korean and Japanese news, Sunny said, “It’s good that good news came out”, provoking raucous laughter from her 8 unnies, amused with her witty answer (so typical of sunny Sunny 😉 !).
Replying to the question on their popularity in Japan, Taeyeon said: “Whenever there is a tour concert, we realized that we are popular judging by the number of fans who come to our concert”. To that statement, Sooyoung also added: “Not only for Korean artistes, there also seems to be an increasing interest in Korean food and the Korean language as well”.
At the same interview, Yoona was also asked where the idea for the pole-dancing performance originated from. In reply, she said: “I got the idea from looking at the individual stage performances and the dancers’ costumes. I want to show everyone a different look”.
Our dear Tiffany, who was also present during the interview, added: “It was a really great performance. SNSD’s No.1 sexy member is our Yoona”.
With regards to her see-through costume, YoonA replied: “Style from Yoona, details from Tiffany”.To that, Tiffany responded: “She ‘digested’ the concept really well”.
Tiffany also added: “If you come over to see our solo concert, you might be able to witness the really sexy performance”, fueling fans expectations of seeing Yoona’s sexy dance at the 2nd solo concert which will be held in Seoul on July 23rd and 24th 2011.
The MBC show also touched on the topic of what happened behind the stage at the SM Town Live World Tour in Paris. As the 9 ladies completed their performance and came down from the stage, the crew of the show asked Sunny with concern: “Are you all right now?”, to which Sunny replied: “Now, I’m very active”.
Yoona, who was there beside Sunny, then jokingly chipped-in: “She was feeling a little sick the other day; but, from that evening onwards, she was really active. It’s not fair !”
To that, Sunny added: “I felt sorry for the fans who were worried about me. I’m really healthy now. Many people think we are eating less because of our diet, but our managers are really surprised with the food portions that we are consuming. I eat well and rest well, so, please don’t worry”.

lots of japanese celebrities went to the yoyogi concert (either on the 28th or 29th). members of akb went to see it again, lol…cause they were too ecstatic from the first two concerts at yoyogi last time.

I’ll always listen to SNSD song whenever I go to sleep or awake from sleep…. Hehehe….. It give me energy to start the day happily….. SNSD Fighting!!!! (^_^)
