Are you sure SNSD will come ? All the advertising for this event just says Kpop and doesn’t say which Kpop.

I must say I am a bit surprised that tickets haven’t sold out yet. I think i might have been the first person in Australia to purchase tickets 🙂 I have an email that was sent to me at 9:01am on the 28th of August, confirming ticket purchase 🙂 haha
By the way i hope you fellow sone’s who are travelling to sydney and planning to stay the night have already booked your hotel! I booked mine at the start of August and at that time, apart from one hotel, all hotels near anz stadium were all booked out!

Aw yeah, you know I’m going to be there! Finally get to see the group that got me into K-pop along with a whole lot of my other beloved artists.
$289 poorer and I’m hoping this concert will be one to remember. So many artists!

I forgot how expensive these ANZ tickets are: 89AUD to 289AUD. SMTown NYC is priced at 44USD to 204USD.
And… the Australian Dollar is now stronger than the U.S. and Canadian Dollars, so the price difference seems even greater.
More groups performing, I suppose. Although I’d rather SMTown than this concert, mostly because more artists means less songs per group. So for everyone planning on going to SMTown NYC, you guys get it good: cheaper tickets and more SNSD, hahaha.
Don’t forget about that free kpop concert that New Yorkers get to enjoy on Oct. 9th, with *some* of the same artists (no SNSD) who will be in Sydney I guess that they couldn’t charge for the tickets in N.Y. because perhaps it will be a very short concert to fill a KBS Music Bank broadcast, or they couldn’t gauge demand all that well so they made it free so as to insure a decent-sized audience for the television cameras. But forget free… SM will follow the money: If you Australians can have a decent turnout at high ticket prices then an SMTown will be in your future.
Not to mention, it’s part of the Australia-Korea relations celebration so I figure either government would be subsidising it AND the plane tickets should cost less because it’s only a 9-10 hour flight from Korea to Sydney; compared to 14-15 hours from Korea to New York.
Everything in Hoju is overpriced.
