Coming tomorrow is Christmas. Music Core has presented a Christmas special episode with some special stages in addition to the usual stages to celebrate.
In particular, our girls performed ‘The Boys’ instead of ‘Mr. Taxi’, Jessica and maknae participated in a special stage and sang ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ along with Secret’s JiEun and Brown Eyed Girls’s GaIn, and towards the end, our girls came out and sang ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’ with various artists.

Since entering the American market in October, it was said that SNSD would release a maxi-single sometime in November – however, this was soon put on hold indefinitely. Despite its postponement, fans will be delighted (and simultaneously devastated for their wallets) to know that the maxi-single, also titled ‘The Boys’, has officially been announced for release on December 20.

Girls’ Generation & SM entertainment have been unleashing a flurry of Soshi products this holiday season. In addition to their Maxi-Single release on December 20th, Girls’ Generation will be adding a special North American version of “The Boys” album that will hit store shelves in the new year.

Update: English subs added
The girls of SNSD were guests on the December 2nd episode of KBS 2TV’s “Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook“. In addition to bringing “The Boys” out, the girls also performed the Korean version of “Mr Taxi” and “Snowy Wish” from their ‘Hoot!’ mini album. During the interview segment of the show, Jessica also clarified a misunderstanding that arose from a fancam taken of her at the airport. Unfortunately Yoona was unable to attend due to scheduling conflicts (most probably due to her drama filming). Check the cuts out below!
