On SNSD’s new reality show, “Girls’ Generation and Dangerous Boys”, the girls are tasked with mentoring five troubled teenagers from different areas of Korea, hoping to solve their problems and see positive change in their characters. The first episode aired on Sunday, December 18th.

Since entering the American market in October, it was said that SNSD would release a maxi-single sometime in November – however, this was soon put on hold indefinitely. Despite its postponement, fans will be delighted (and simultaneously devastated for their wallets) to know that the maxi-single, also titled ‘The Boys’, has officially been announced for release on December 20.

On December 16th, SNSD returned to Music Bank with an explosive performance of “MR.TAXI”. In contrast to the police uniforms worn on yesterday’s M! Countdown, SNSD donned grey outfits that, despite the usual blandness of the colour, contained a tinge of velvet and a lot of sparkle. Of course, we can’t forget about those knee-high black boots.
SNSD promoted and saw huge success with “MR.TAXI” in Japan earlier this year, and it seems the Korean version of the song has proven to be equally as popular in Korea. The girls will continue to promote the song until the end of the year.
